New Released Hair & An Exclusive Design For Monochromatic Fair

There are two exciting new items to highlight in this post.

First, Tokyo Girl has released a new hair named Ariane.  There are two versions available - an updo bun or updo tail.  Each version comes in 10 hair textures, 60 dyes and resizer options.  

Flora Dress, is Legal Insanity's exclusive design for Monochromatic Fair which is currently running until May 2, 2014.  It comes in 7 beautiful colours which I love all.  Along with the dress, a matching clutch and earrings are in the pack.  

I actually overlooked the pair of earrings in it and didn't wear them for my photo shoot.  To make up for that, I went over to the store at the Fair and snapped a photo of all the vendors.

Legal Insanity @ The Comics Fashion Fair

I'm wearing this dress named Aiko Heart designed by Legal Insanity, exclusively for The Comics Fashion Fair until April 30th, 2014.

What is outstanding about this dress is the animated texture in the square.  The dress comes in 4 colours which is controlled by a HUD inside each pack.  There are as many as 60 different combinations of textures available for sale at The Comic Fashion Fair until the end of April.  Hurry! Worn on me is an exclusive item by Legal Insanity and it's only available at The Style Icon fashion fair.  Named Vivienne Punk Gown, it has 3 options - chemical, dirty, rose.  There is a matching colour fur wrap included but I overlooked and didn't wear it while doing this photo shoot.  Anyway, I love the texture of this gown and so I think it's best worn without the fur!

What A Curious Life I Have Found Here

I've often heard about hipsters style which I thought was the looks of tight-fitting jeans and old school sneakers.  Now I've learned that Hipster is a subculture of people in their 20s to 30s with distinct fashion styles and music, who value independent thinking, an appreciation of art and indie-rock, creativity, and more. I've even found a Hipster song that was said to be every Hipsters' favourite.  I listened to it as I write this post and I've shared it at the bottom.   

Now I am curious if hippies and hipsters are the same... well, I'll find out next time.

   

I just went over to The Hipster Fair where one of my favourite labels, Legal Insanity, is participating in it.  As usual, I first headed to the gachas before I started walking from store to store.  I'm terrible at finding my way in fairs, either I keep walking back and forth at the same stores or in a big circle, missing a big part of other stores on the sim.  Sometimes I wish that each stores are numbered so that I know where I am heading. 

The gachas in The Hipster Fair are at four corners of the event area.  Flying is disabled at the Fair and I have little time to spare, so I was running from one corner to the other.  I imagined myself like a baseball player running from base to base on the baseball field.  ~ LOL!

My Hipster song pick:

My Tartans Craze

I'm obsessed with tartan textures since .... God knows when!  Probably when I first saw just how wide the range of men's bottoms with tartan textures designed by Legal Insanity.  I've actually tried on one of the men's bottoms demo.  So it was funny as it is absolutely meant for men!  

Finally, here comes a newly released cargo pants for women which has four choices of tartan texture colours.  I picked this green one though I like all of them!  If you like cargo pants, don't miss checking out the other choices Legal Insanity is offering.  It has the widest choices of colours and textures I've ever come across with a whopping 27 to choose from, and this number excludes the four tartans.   

So I have got the green tartan cargo pants, next I was trying to find a matching top.  I wanted something loose-fitting and I found it at Zook.  I was lucky Zook's designer, Tzuke Ashbourne, was in the store and she was so kind to wear it for me, just to be sure that I found the right colour to go with my cargo pants.

Goodbye 2013

This is my last post for the year!  2013 is coming to a close.  Looking back, this has been a year full of challenges.  I've faced loss, I've faced gains. I've won some and I've lost some.  This is probably the most upheaval year I had in my life so far.  

This year, I don't have any resolutions thought out.  I know the parts of my life that I need to improve on.  Each year, I look forward to a better year from the last and this year is nonetheless.

I wish and pray that 2014 is a happy and peaceful year for everyone.
