Woke up early in the morning feeling great, looking forward to finish the long list of to-dos and, happily saying to myself - carpe diem! After taking care of the priorities, I logged in to Second Life to blog as usual. But what I found there in Second Life shocked me, it spoiled my day. I was hurt and very disappointed. It broke how I perceived someone who was generous and considerate. I'm a responsible person, who likes to do a good job, do my best, and meet another's expectation. My friend said I'm a perfectionist and I demand too much of myself. But it was merely the lack of understanding and trust for that kind of breakdown.
Feeling hurt, I went around the grid seeking for a place I could bury my feelings, calm down and forget the incident. And I found myself going back to this sim with colourful trees and flowers. They are a sure mood booster!

My Dear skin has a new release named Jillian. I am wearing it on this shape which I specially made for the skin. I have named the shape Gillian and it actually has the same eyes appearance as the shape I made earlier. I thought it would be quite fun to make one with some resemblances to each other like a family often has. You may find both shapes at Marketplace.
Interesting post title, you may say. I am more interested what is beyond those words but I will first write about this newest release by Legal Insanity.
I have been wanting to get a catsuit, one that resembles Catwoman. I know that a similar black latex catsuit was featured spectacularly on other blogs before, but I simply adore it. I think Catwoman is probably the most stylish and coolest fictional heroine character among DC Comics characters after watching Halle Berry wearing it and doing her cat moves in the movie Catwoman.
I was glad that Legal Insanity has released this Angelina Catsuit Collection last week (hmm.... my mind pictured Angelina Joline in the catsuit!). It is a full mesh outfit which includes a pair of matching boots. The Collection comes in five range of textures, i.e. Jeans, Flower Power, Mars, Optical, Optical 2, and each range offers 4 colour options. I am wearing this perfect fitting Angelina Optical in beige colour with a micro black non-mesh top which is found separately at Rock Me Amadeus store. To complete the look, I chose a short and sort-of-punky blonde hair. Without long nails, I won't look like a cat at all, so I put on Shatters nails from Bamboo. These pretty nails match my outfit very well. It comes with a HUD and in it, there are so many options - paint, length and size. There are five colours, four lengths and three sizes to choose from. I am wearing the teal colour, small and size 10 nails. You will enjoy playing mix and match with them!

I have been listening to Christmas songs in various languages on You Tube lately. It was refreshing and moving to hear the same tunes sung in other languages with such emotions and convictions. I came across this song titled "Where Are You Christmas" sung by Faith Hill and I decided to make this the title of my post as I love this part of the song... "If there is love in your heart and your mind, you will feel like Christmas all the time". If people have love in their hearts and mind, the world would be a much better place to live in ... lesser tragedies and lesser war.
This song was re-recorded from a shorter version titled "Christmas, Why Can't I Find You?" which was for a year 2000 movie titled "How The Grinch Stole Christmas". Now 12 years later, I don't mind watching this movie again as it is not only an enjoyable holiday movie but it also has a great morale in the story. Christmas is really more than just gifts and presents, Santa Claus and Christmas trees. If you are celebrating Christmas, I wish you a MERRY CHRISTMAS. I pray and hope that you will find peace and joy this season. May you be blessed with love and hope at wherever you are in whatever situations you may be.

Legal Insanity has just added this low-rise loose pants screaming of style, fearless and freedom to its staple of pants for girls. Named Hari, the full mesh pants is available in seven different colours. I chose to wear the Rose colour pants matched with white tank top, adorned with a huge pair of earrings, long necklaces and bangles, slipped in to a pair of strappy stiletto heels and teased up my hair with ice cream colors.

In my last post, I wrote about praises and compliments, sincere praises and the insincere Second Life new wave of beggars script. It got me pondering further about how Asians respond to compliments, regardless of the compliments' sincerity. I can't speak for all but I believe that majority of us Asians in this part of the world do respond in quite the same way.
A lot of times we tend to deny it, sometimes we shy away from it or feel awkward by it, or sometimes we just smile and blush. It may seems rude to respond that way but it is considered a modest behaviour in our culture. Parents don't really teach a young child how to answer to compliments. But as we become more expose to foreign cultures, in both reality and virtual world, we pick up some proper social etiquette. Thanks to Second Life for the wonderful cross cultural experience!
Again this year, I am honoured to be selected as one of the official bloggers for Peace On Earth 5 Hunt due to start from December 1, 2012 and ends on January 6, 2013. Yes, it is running for the 5th year and it is one of the largest hunt on the grid with the participation of 201 designers. Everyone has 37 days to finish hunting all the hunt gifts. You can't possibly finish it in one day! I am not sure if there would be anyone who will do that. Praise works wonders when it is done well as it raises someone's self-esteem and confidence, makes someone feels their efforts and hard work is acknowledged. Whether it is to a kid or an adult, praise is one of the powerful forms of human interactions.
But, some people does it with ulterior motives. These people are smooth talkers, they would praise you sky high, make you feel like you are on cloud nine then the next thing you know is their true colours being revealed.
One day I was out shopping a girl IMed me, eloquently praising the way I looked, a little too excessively, I felt. I am not quite too comfortable of being praised in such manner. From my rather conservative upbringing, praises do not come around often, unless an outstanding achievement renders it. Towards the end of the conversation, her ulterior motive was revealed - she asked for some Lindens! I shared the experience with a friend and she too, had the same experience.
Can you tell a sincere praise from an insincere one?
Last week, Legal Insanity has new releases. A full mesh Marlon Jacket for him and Marlene Jacket for her. Both are sold in three colours - black, choco and dark blue. The chic, stylish jacket comes with a HUD that controls the shirt. You may choose to wear with or without the shirt, and there are also four colours of the shirt to choose from. In these pictures, I am wearing the Marlene dark blue jacket with a white shirt matched with a pair of white sculpted-cuffed shorts in a casual laid-back but chic style.
I have Polkadot Blue prim nails on me which are Bamboo's latest release. These beautiful nails are scripted. You can choose the different lengths out of three available, and paint your nails in any of the five different textures either on selected nails or all nails to create a unique style.

MyDear has released a new skin named May. It comes in six makeups and four bosom cup sizes in each of its six skin tones. As usual, Medium skin tone is my favourite and I have picked makeup 2 for this photo shoot. I think it made me look so luminous and youthful. I absolutely adore MyDear Skins because they always look so good on me as if they are made just for me. ;)

It has been a very long time since I last bought any non-mesh clothings. This one-piece coat dress is simply fabulous! It is finely made of sculpted collar, puff sleeves, skirt and belt, and layers of shirt, jacket, pants and underpants. To give this otherwise dark coloured, non-revealing outfit a bit of glitz, I accessorized it with a delicately crafted brooch by Finesmith Jewelry with my own selections of metal, gems, shine etc. (Yes, it has a customizable menu!) If you are wondering if the hat comes with the dress, then my answer is no. This hat is attached to my hair and it has a menu driven texture options. Finally, I chose to wear a pair of gold leather boots which is, again, customizable with plenty of options from calf style, heels style to metals texture. Perhaps it is with this gold leather boots that the entire look is transformed to somewhat modern vintage?
This skin on me is MyDear's newly released Tonia Skin. I have chosen to wear the one with light pinky lipstick and pinky with dashes of yellow eyeshadows. I darkened the original eyebrow with my self-made brown tattoo to enhance the facial features, making the entire face looking more refreshing and alluring.
